CfA: Symposium Memory Enhancement Munich

Memory Enhancement – April 21-22, 2012, Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich

Cognitive enhancement has increasingly become a subject of academic and public discussion. The field seems to suffer, however, from a lack of differentiation and specification in the domains and methods of enhancement. This two-day symposium will therefore focus on recent empirical and theoretical progress in the enhancement of learning and memory consolidation. It will cover neurobiological, psychological, philosophical and legal issues of pharmacological, nutritional, behavioural and technological ways of memory enhancement and modification.

We cordially invite you to submit abstracts for oral presentations on both empirical and theoretical research. Please submit abstracts and registration requests by March 20, 2012 via the e-mail address below.
